Most sites open with a line about using cookies to improve your experience. On this site that would not be true, so here is what actually happens.
The short version
This website sets one cookie, and its only job is to remember whether you accepted or declined. There are no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no third-party trackers. You can browse the whole catalogue without anything being stored about you.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small piece of text a website asks your browser to keep and send back on your next visit. It is how a site can remember something between pages. Cookies can be useful, and they can also be used to follow people across different websites — which is why you are asked about them.

Categories in the preferences panel
The preferences panel lists three categories. Two of them are switched off and unused today; they exist so that your choice is already recorded if we ever add those tools, rather than us turning something on and asking afterwards.
- Strictly necessary — the consent cookie above. Cannot be switched off, because without it the site cannot remember your choice.
- Analytics — not in use. If added, it would count visits and show which products are viewed, so we can improve the site.
- Marketing — not in use. If added, it would allow advertising cookies set by other companies.
Changing your mind
You can change your choice at any time: . You can also delete cookies in your browser settings, in which case you will be asked again on your next visit.
Things that are not cookies
Our web server keeps standard request logs, which can include your IP address and the pages requested. That happens at the network level rather than through a cookie, and it is needed to run and secure the site. It is covered in our privacy policy.
